Lists
Lists give members the opportunity to ask questions and share information. With all these lists, you need to make sure that you are sending the subscribe mails from the computer you wish the mail sent to.
Sweet Adelines Australia
This list is based in Australia, although there are a few international members. Membership is open, and the email levels are sporadic, but usually only a few per week. To subscribe, send a blank email to ausadelines-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
SING
Sing, or SweetAdelinesInt is an international list, with membership being mostly SAI members. It has about 30 mails per day on average, and is an absolute goldmine of information. In addition to the average Jo Sweet Adeline, there are judges and educators, master directors and women with decades of SAI experience. At the time of writing, this list has over 2000 members. This one is a must! To join, send a blank e-mail to SweetAdelinesInt-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Barbershoppers2Nite
This list is quite similar to the SING list, and has many of the same members. However, it also has members from Harmony Inc and SPEBSQSA and their affiliates. It has 1000 members at time of writing, and also has a lot of good info. To subscribe, send a blank e-mail to Barbershoppers2nite-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
VisualTeam
VisualTeam is a list aimed at visual leaders in your choruses, but has many directors on it as well. This list has about 200 members. The list members have started to put together a batch of files and handouts on Visual Presentation, which are very useful. Lynne Smith will be ducking in and out as her schedule allows. To subscribe, send a blank e-mail to VisualTeam-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
The Harmonet
The Harmonet has subscribers from SAI, Harmony Inc, SPEBSQSA and their various affiliates. It is an active list with up to 100 e-mails a day, and over 2000 members. It is famous for its 'flaming' (ie arguments) as well as good information. For more information on the Harmonet, you can visit http://spebsqsa.org/Interact/Harmonet/default.htm, and to join, send e-mail to bbshop-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
AusQuartets
A list for people who are in, would like to be in or have ever been in quartets, to discuss quartet issues and even look for those elusive other three parts. To join, send a blank email to AusQuartets-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
